Salting out Tergitol 15S-based surfactants for extremolipases separation

In the present work, ability of different sodium-based salts like Na2CO3, Na2HPO4, Na2SO4 and Na2SO3 to salt out aqueous solutions two biodegradable non-ionic surfactants (Tergitol 15S7 Tergitol 15S9) has been demonstrated. We have empirically characterized immiscibility regions models Merchuk Othmer-Tobias equations were employed for binodal tie-line data, respectively. The effect phase forming components on lipolytic activity in-house extremolipases (from Thermus thermophilus HB27 Halomonas sp-LM1C) was studied prior approach separation. It concluded that ions bearing lowest capacity establish hydrogen bonds with water molecules sulphate led greater activation effect. Then, proposed systems extract both lipases compared a commercial one, lipase B from Candida antarctica, it 50% decay avoided when extreme enzymes employed.
